C-39 Petty Cash Funds for 2011-12 Fiscal Year

Issue/Rationale

The School Board authorizes the use of petty cash funds for small expenditures for the operation of schools and departments.  Petty cash funds are used by the schools/departments for postage and other incidental purchases under $50 where it is not feasible for a purchase order to be issued.

The following petty cash funds are recommended for approval effective July 1, 2011.

Deputy Superintendent - $150

Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources - $200

Director of Maintenance - $300

Principal, McRae Elementary School - $100

Principal, Keystone Heights High School - $300

Principal, Orange Park Elementary - $300

Supervisor of Instructional Resources - $300

Director of Transportation - $200

Principal, Orange Park High School - $200

Asst. Superintendent of Instruction - $300

Director of Purchasing/Warehousing - $100

Supervisor of Adult/Community Ed - $100

Director of Student Services - $300

Asst. Superintendent for Support Services - $300

Principal, Clay Hill Elementary - $300

Principal, Charles E. Bennett Elementary - $300

Principal, Paterson Elementary - $300

Principal, Grove Park Elementary - $100

Director of Career and Tech Ed - $200

Approval of the petty cash funds, as presented.

Financial Impact
There is no direct financial effect on budgets by the approval of the petty cash funds.
